The 2018 general election for the 24th State Senate District will be a rematch of 2014 when Republican Chris Nybo of Elmhurst won 60 percent of the vote over Democrat Suzanne “Suzy” Glowiak of Western Springs. Neither candidate has a challenger in the primary.
The district includes all or parts of Elmhurst, Oak Brook, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills and Western Springs.
The district includes a portion of La Grange, Sen. Steven Landek faces face no primary or general election challenge.
Includes portions of La Grange, Western Springs, Willowbrook and Darien. Sen. John Curran faces no challenge in the Republican primary, but will face Democrat Bridget Fitzgerald, the Western Springs village clerk, in the general election.
